  • The Americano is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The service is unmatched – the staff are incredibly professional, attentive, and clearly well-trained, making every visit feel special. The food is phenomenal; every bite is bursting with flavor and clearly crafted with care. As someone who appreciates mixology, I have to say their cocktails are out of this world – creative, balanced, and absolutely delicious. I’ve been here more times than I can count, and every single time has been consistently amazing. I recommend The Americano over any other restaurant – it’s simply in a league of its own.

  • Had lunch at the Americano and it was a great experience. Very friendly staff, and the food was delicious. Favorites were definitely the spinach and artichoke dip and the the caramel bread pudding. Super yummy. I hear they have happy hour 3-6pm on the weekdays and brunch on Saturday and Sundays.

  • ⸻ I was visiting from Florida and stayed at The Lloyd Hotel, which is perfectly located near so many of the great new restaurants that have opened up downtown Stamford. On a quiet Sunday night, we wanted to stay close by and decided to have a late dinner at The Americano—and we were so glad we did! The place is absolutely beautiful—elegant, stylish, and warm with dim lighting and cozy ambiance that made the evening feel really special. We sat at the bar, and our bartender, Steven, was amazing. This was actually the second time he’s taken care of us during a visit to Stamford. The first time was earlier this year during brunch, which featured a live band and delicious food. That experience was so good, it made coming back for dinner an easy choice. Let me just say… the goat cheese mashed potatoes are sinfully delicious. If you visit, don’t skip them—they’re an absolute must-try. I had the salmon with broccolini, and it was incredible. I meant to take a picture before diving in, but as you’ll see in the photo section—my plate was completely clean! This is one of those places that gets it right: beautiful setting, fantastic food, and excellent service. Highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again next time I’m in Stamford!

  • Looking for a bite for dinner around 8:30, The Americano was not busy, tables were aplenty. The French Onion Soup came out very hot, presented very nicely with lots of melted cheese covering the crock. Very well made with lots of subtle but familiar flavors. A nice choice on a cold night! The Brasserie Burger was very good as well, possibly a touch more salt than I prefer. The toppings were a great addition to make it a very tasty choice! This place has all the right elements to make for a fun night of food drink & friends! Cheers!

  • Nice Experience! We went to this restaurant on a Saturday (8/30/25)for an early dinner. We arrived around 5:30pm and were seated promptly. We didn’t have a reservation; they also had outside seatings. It was the end of the summer restaurant week. I really enjoyed the mocktails; the food was good too. I , however wasn’t too crazy about the dessert. I’ve tasted better. Lastly, they have paid street parking & garages. I would return to this restaurant.

  • Have to give this restaurant five stars. Service was really great... There was a slight hiccup with cocktails and they went above and beyond without us making a fuss. Total accountability and so gracious. Definitely will be back! Love to see how the team supports each other throughout the experience. Excellent Hospitality!

  • My favorite go-to spot for delicious food, fun cocktails & exceptional atmosphere. Julio is truly a gem, his attentiveness and customer service is outstanding. He always makes the dining experience one of the best in the town. Those wings are so fire too!

  • I can’t say enough good things about this place. First, the staff is full of welcoming love. In Hawaii they would say they’re full of Aloha. Next. Having tried Happy hours in DOZENS of places the last few months, they have without a doubt the BEST. Their bar “well” gor $10 happy hour martinis, just doesn’t get any better. Food wise, lunch specials are a steal. Sandwiches are a tad on the small side BUT, their apps are so large it balances out Been twice, and both times our experience was impeccable. Shout out to Luis on the floor end and Jay behind the bar. 33 years in Stamford and over two visits this changes to our go to place
